Overview
This policy explains what information ElkNut (“we”) collects when you use our mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email and display name via Firebase Authentication (including Google or Apple sign-in if you choose them).
- Usage and analytics. We collect app interaction events (e.g. pages viewed, content played) to improve the product.
- Purchases. Subscription status is processed by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Content you create. Practice recordings and tool entries (e.g. harvest log) you create in the app.
How we use information
To provide and improve the app, manage your account and subscription, deliver content, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate ElkNut, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Bunny CDN (media delivery). These providers process data on our behalf.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can update your profile in the app, manage subscriptions through your app store, and delete your account. Contact us to exercise your rights.
Children
ElkNut is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
