The story

The ElkNut has dedicated the last 30-plus years to a specialized subject — understanding elk vocalization. For the last 26 years he and his son, Paul Jr. (owners of ElkNut Outdoor Productions), have made it their mission to share what they’ve learned through instructional DVDs, CDs, and ElkNut’s PlayBook. The ElkNut app combines the best of their knowledge into one easy-to-access resource.

Elk vocalization is a deeper subject than you might think. It isn’t about a single bugle or a cow call — it’s a language, with a vocabulary that tells you an animal’s mood, intent, and how it’s likely to respond. ElkNut’s focus on that vocabulary gives you the ability to understand what elk are saying, and to answer in a way that pulls them in.

No matter your hunting style, Learning the Language adds yet another weapon to any elk hunter’s arsenal.
