The AI Call Coach listens to a call you've practiced and grades it 0–100 on pitch, cadence, realism, and tone — then gives you an overall score and specific tips to sound more like a real elk. It's in beta right now, so access is opened one member at a time. Here's how to get on the list.

First

Before you start

  • ✓You have ElkNut PRO. Beta features are a PRO benefit — free members will see a Go PRO prompt instead.
  • ✓Your app is up to date. Update ElkNut from the App Store or Google Play so the Coach and Beta Program screens are available.
  • ✓You're signed in to your ElkNut account.

Two ways in

Request access

Pick whichever you reach first — both send the same request.

Option AFrom a callFastest — you're already looking at it
  1. Open the Calls tab and tap any call.
  2. Tap the Coach tab in the Reference · Practice · Coach control.
  3. Find the AI Call Coach card (it has a yellow Beta badge) and tap Join.
  4. Add an optional note, then tap Request access.
  5. You'll see “Request sent — we'll review it shortly.” The button now reads Pending.

  1. Go to the Account screen and tap Beta Program.
  2. Find AI Call Coach in the list.
  3. Tap Request.
  4. Add an optional note, then tap Request access.
  5. Its status changes to In review.

What happens next

From request to unlocked

Every request is reviewed by a person, so it isn't instant — but we check regularly. When you're approved, the Coach unlocks automatically; there's nothing to request twice. The Beta Program page will show Approved, and the call's Coach tab will show “Score my call with AI.”

Approved but not seeing it? Fully close ElkNut (swipe it away) and reopen it so the app picks up your new access.

Once you're in

Score your first call

  1. Record a practice of a call — from the call's Practice tab, or your Practice library.
  2. Open the Coach tab and tap Score my call with AI.
  3. Pick a scoring method and, in a few seconds, get your pitch, cadence, realism, and tone scores, an overall, and coaching tips.
  4. Your scores are saved, so you can watch yourself improve over the season.

Questions

Common snags

The button says “Go PRO” instead of letting me request.+

Beta features are part of ElkNut PRO. Tap Go PRO to upgrade, then come back and request access.

I don’t see “Beta Program” under Account.+

Make sure you’re on the latest app version and signed in. Force-close and reopen the app, then check Account → Beta Program again.

It’s been “Pending / In review” for a while.+

That’s normal — approvals are done by hand. You’ll be unlocked as soon as an admin reviews your request; there’s nothing more you need to do.

Do I have to request it more than once?+

No. One request is enough. Once approved, the Coach stays unlocked on your account.
